New membership applications are reviewed by the board before becoming final. Membership is open to estate planners from many disciplines related to the estate and tax planning field.* EVEPC does not pre-certify events for specific professions. We follow standard best practices and protocols common to many disciplines, and maintain sign in sheets and outlines on file for several years, for members' reference as needed when applying for CE.
EVEPC Inc. (dba East Valley Estate Planning Council) uses the number of confirmed members to pay for its fixed costs. As a result, a full refund will be granted if the request is made ten (10) days prior to the first meeting of the season. No refunds will be granted if the request is received after the first meeting of the season.
Membership dues are payable within 30 days of approval of a membership application. If Member dues remain outstanding in excess of 30 days from time of an approved membership application, the member will be subject to suspension of membership from EVEPC. Any meeting attendance without a remittance of membership dues will be subject to guest fees as applicable.
